I did not learn much about what I wanted to learn in terms of visual/graphical style, but I did receive some feedback on what kind of music and technical animation might be useful. From the conversations I had on the 9th, the blade runner story and musical soundtrack has been pointed out as a potentially strong source of inspiration as well as Daft Punk’s style of music.
I’ve been told that Blade Runner, Daft Punk, Stray (video game), and Cyberpunk 2077 (upcoming video game) are things to look into for stylistic, musical, narrative, and character development inspirations. Over the course of the development, I will be looking into these creations which will be eternally helpful in the future of the production process.
In the terms of technical methods, Krita the animation software is something to look into and possibly use, and the musical style and combination that has been recommended is this sort of smooth piano accompanied by some kind of techno-based elements. In the first conversation, it was heavily recommended to be a subtle blend of the smooth piano and techno based elements but we will see where we end up in the end.
