Courtney’s Prototype Plan

For November 9,

I’m planning to have results from a paper prototype version of my project. I already have an idea of how I’ll conduct the testing. I’ll be using a format similar to this Youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJccvLiWCps&feature=youtu.be

It’s called Pictive Prototyping where you basically use paper prototypes and based on where the user wants to go, you’d change the screen that appears with another piece of paper. It’s a good place to start just to navigate the preliminary steps of the web application/story-telling experience. Right now, I plan to have 2-3 testing rounds just to get an idea of what people think.

For November 16,

After getting results from the paper prototype test, my next step is to iterate and maybe create a more put together version on Adobe XD. However, this feels a bit ambitious to me; I think maybe in this testing session, I would focus on functionality and the flow of the app and maybe add some color to try and explore the design.

For November 30,

The ideal prototype would be to have something drafted on Twinery (https://twinery.org/ ) This prototype would probably be a start of me trying to draft up the flow of the app, but the design wouldn’t be a priority. I would mainly just be getting more familiar with Twinery and how it works. This would be an ideal place for me to be as I can build on my project more during winter break and have something more put together by the spring semester.
