The song I’m doing is Jerusalem by Ken Lampl: https://www.jwpepper.com/Jerusalem/10849139.item#/submit
I’m currently working on analyzing and marking the score. After that I’ll start teaching it to the Chorale. Then they will record their audio and send it to me. I’ll compile everything in Logic so we sound like a cohesive group that was recorded all together.
Once the audio is finalized (and the weather is warmer), we’ll film the video. The current plan is to film all around campus i.e. by the lake, Trenton Hall, the fountain, behind AIMM, etc. In addition to shooting with DSLRs, I hope to get some footage with a drone.
Hey Adina, I’m happy to hear you’re making progress on your final and have decided on a song to do. I just listen to a glimpse of the song and it sounds really beautiful honestly and I can definitely see why you picked it. I’m curious about how you’ll make it into a video, how you incorporate the students in your video, and how you’ll utilize all the places you listed? But, I’ve seen your work and know you’ll bring the best out of the song and make it visually pleasing. Good luck.
