Unfortunately work really got in the way of my third prototype, however something came to mind that really stuck with me. Perhaps I am over complicating my project. It may be more beneficial to simplify things to improve the user experience and still keep my project in the same realm. The change I have been mulling over in my head during the past couple of weeks was whether or not using mixed reality is the best way to experience my project. Adding mixed reality, adds another level of complexity to the user which may detracts from the simplicity of the fun of building with Lego. The main focus of my project should be how well the user is able to interact with the application/ product. AR is still something I would like to work with but I think that should come second to the overall experience, and because of that the main focus should be on creating a way for people to have as close of an experience to building with Lego through a connected digital interface where they can collaborate and express their creativity.
