For my second prototype I decided to create some user flows for my project. This would allow me to figure out the different screens on my app and the actions that could be taken by users.
My first user flow displays the initial welcome screen that the user would see once they would download the application and goes through each individual screen. What I really wanted to do was keep it simple and not give the hypothetical user too many options to choose from. This also allows me to easily alter screens I decide to change without having too much trouble connecting it to the rest.
The next two user flows display how someone would view their weekly check-in and how to set up a new goal or task. Again, I tried to keep these simple though the user flows naturally make it look more complicated than it really is. This made me look at the overall end result and think how I could further minimize the users time on the screen by making it concise and to the point. What I realized I want to do is continue to think of new ways to make the experience short and direct. These two user flows begin on the homepage which will become a focus in my next prototype. I intend to edit these and create new ones in the future.
