Prototype 1: Initial Wireframes

For Prototype 1 I made some preliminary low-fidelity wireframes to display the initial welcome and starting screens. These screens are what the hypothetical user would see once they download the app and open it for the first time. These screens welcome the user, ask for their name, then proceeds to explain what the app can do and why screen-time is important. I want these screens to be brief and to the point as they should not waste time with a formal account set-up. The screens are very basic, but I was aiming to establish a structure for the app. The bigger boxes within the wireframe would be a background image or graphic.

In class, it was suggested that I add the ability to for users to turn on notifications directly from one of the welcome screens. This way, the user can get alerts based on daily tips, screen-time updates, and goals. Additionally, I also should have an option to turn on location which would give the ability to track screen time in the first place. These would most likely act as simple popups that you would normally see in other apps, expect they may have a small blurb with the reasoning behind it for transparency.
