For my senior thesis I plan to create an app design that may or may not be functional. I am still deciding if I am capable of doing that or not. The app will contain my own pieces of digital art created through Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator that will demonstrate my creative and artistic skills using the applications. The digital creations will be a variety of colors, ideas, and themes that will show my understanding of the application and my thought process throughout making all the images.
I have started to plan out my senior thesis by creating ideas for the self-created images to put into my gallery. I also created a wireframe of the app design that I wish to pursue. Although time is not on my side for the semester, I have been able to do very little so far concerning my senior thesis. I am currently taking four classes including a fall/winter internship that is taking up most of my time. Though I am still slowly progressing through my work and eventually will come up with an amazing senior thesis final project.
Hi Russell. Its Eric. I’m glad that you have started some progress here and there. Having a wire frame/prototype of what the app looks like will be really useful for when you get the chance to possibly build it. In addition to that, I would love to see your thinking regarding how you go about your digital creations (like the color schemes and themes) for your senior thesis. If anything, the important part is to try and at least show a visual representation of what the app will look like by the end in some form, which is possible through just designing what the pages look like.
